Joel Ippolito is CEO and Owner. He joined the family business in 1974. Joel has been in the produce business all his life, and in addition to Ippolito Fruit & Produce, he owns and is CEO of Ippolito Transportation Inc., and has an ownership interest in Ippolito International, Queen Victoria Farms and Ippolito Produce (Food Terminal). Joel is Past Board member of Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) and Past President of the Hamilton Golf and Country Club (HGCC). In 2019, Joel was the Burlington Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Entrepreneur winner.
Paul Keery joined Ippolito Fruit & Produce in 2018 as President. He is also President of Ippolito Transportation Inc. Paul is a seasoned executive with thirty years of experience in the transportation, logistics, and food sectors. Paul currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Food for Life.
Renaldo Barca is CFO and joined the company in 2018. He has over 20 years of diversified Finance and business experience earned in the Logistics and Transportation sectors, and most recently, the Retail and Foodservice sectors. Ren is active with various industry and professional associations.
Steve Dimen has been with Ippolito since 2005 and has held numerous progressively senior positions in Purchasing, Operations, Sales and Product Development. He is currently Chief Operating Officer responsible for Operations, Sales & Marketing and Procurement. Steve currently serves as Chair on the Ontario Produce and Marketing Association.
Derrick Shanahan joined Ippolito in 2019 as Director, Information Technology and is the Head of Ippolito’s Technology (IT), Digital and Project Management Office (PMO) disciplines and brings with him a wealth of experience with over 20 years IT and Digital experience in a variety of industries and locations. Derrick is a former President of the Board of Directors for the Royal Canadian Curling Club.
Lindsay Stopps joined Ippolito as Director, Human Resources in 2019. Lindsay has an extensive background as a HR professional, having worked with several major brands in the food and hospitality sectors. Lindsay is actively involved in Women in Leadership, Children’s Aid Society, Dundas Valley Residents Association and Dundas Builds.
Natacha joined Ippolito Fruit and Produce in 1998 and has held progressively more senior roles. Natacha has developed experience in: purchasing, grower relations, transportation, and sales. Natacha currently handles procurement and sales for our Quebec division.
Steve has a decade of experience in produce working on the retail, supply, and grower side of the business. Steve’s background and experience helps to bring an all-encompassing perspective to the sales and marketing functions at Ippolito.
Jon Stewart joined Ippolito Fruit & Produce in 2019. Jon has over 15 years of experience in the food service channel, having worked within the distribution, managed service and manufacturing sectors.
George Anastasopoulos joined Ippolito Fruit & Produce in 2019. He has over 20 years of extensive experience in all aspects of operations management. His experience extends over many sectors playing a critical role in developing best business practices.
Bill Kennedy is Director of Supply Chain and Quality Control. He has over 20 years of industry experience within the produce world. He joined Ippolito Fruit and Produce in 2010 bringing a wealth of logistics, various procurement and retail execution strategies to compliment the operational role and focus on development within the team.
Kelly joined Ippolito Fruit & Produce in 2021 as Sales Manager for Wholesale & Specialty Services. Kelly has over 20 years of experience in both the retail and wholesale side of the produce industry.
Michael joined the Ippolito team in 2014. He has a Master Degree in Microbiology and over 20 years in the food industry ranging from on the floor quality control to Food Safety Management. Michael leads our food safety team and in-house laboratory.
